How we built our show layout in pictures.

Here is where you can see pictures of the progress we made in building our modular show layout. In the end each srtight section weighs in under 30 pounds. Each straight sectionis 5 feet long and 4 feet wide. The units set on the ground. At shows we still get people, young and old that lay on the ground and watch the trains roll by.

A great place to get replacements parts

Here is a place to get some of the parts you may need.  I orders some hub covers for my evans box cars so I can see those hubs spin. Give a look at this page and see what you need and it never hurts to ask for items not shown, I already did.  And wow I got an answer back quickly, service is king at GLX and I will be getting my other parts.

I got my hubs and some side steps and I'm very happy with the quality. I ask about a horn and was told I could send one and he would see what he could do. I will keep you up to date with the horn. But look at what parts he.

Places to get HELP

I can't tell you how many times I need to do something to one of my locos or other rolling stock and I'm lost as where to start. Well, there are many places to get help and I am very proud to say that I have a link to Ottawa Valley Garden Railway Society. There are some very will and detailed instructions on converting and repairing and tweaking of our equipment.
At the Great Train Expo, at Reliant Park, I got a new engine. This was my first FA-1 and I was going thru the trial and error to open the unit to install my receiver and sound. I was directed by folks on some forum to go the Ottawa Valley Garden Railway Society where Paul Norton had just what I needed.
